CREDIT UNION: Magic of Money
With this campaign for
Granite Credit Union, the phrase "Seeing is Believing"
best describes both the piece and the response it received. Our
objective was to generate new accounts and bring attention to
the grand opening of a new branch in a local supermarket. During
the grand opening, we created an on-site event to help create
interest, stop traffic and get people to hear the benefits of
being a Granite Credit Union member.
Our direct mail piece communicated the offers, the event and the
excitement of the Grandest of Openings. The design of the direct
mail consisted of a hand assembled printed piece to resemble a
magicians hat with rabbit's ears poking out of a die cut slit
in the hat with the words PULL. It was irresistible. Everyone
pulled the rabbit's ears out of the hat. Once revealed, the rabbit
announced the grand opening theme, "The Magic of Money".
The information inside revealed the offer, the dates, the excitement
and extended the invitation to join a live magic show.
It was a big-time, extremely effective event inside the supermarket
that attracted store traffic as well as making the grand opening
fun and lively. With a 12.77% response rate, we generated deposits
and loan balances which totaled well over $4 million for a 927.03%
return on investment. |
