Two separate direct mail efforts for Sears Siding successfully out-pulled the previous control packages to become the new standard for response. Playing on the age-old frustration parents have with children leaving the doors open, "Heating the whole DARN neighborhood" became the leading response generator for the vinyl windows division and the "Free Home Inspection Certificate" generated record numbers of responses for the ToughGuard 99 product line.
