To premiere First Security's
in-store bank branches, Merrell Remington produced a dynamic
"Hollywood Premiere" style campaign. Using an oversized
"torn movie ticket" mailer invitation, movie marquee
signs, a high-profile drop-curtain opening ceremony, a 25-foot
inflatable grocery bag outside the store, a whirl in the "Cash
Booth", free video rentals soda, and the enticing smell
of fresh-popped theater popcorn attracted new customers. We
were able to generate over 140% more new accounts and larger
deposits amounts than previous bank openings without the promotion!
